Title
Substitute resolution to vacate the Northerly East-West alley and the North 120 feet of the North-South alley in the block bounded by West Garfield Avenue, West North Avenue, North 24th Street and North 24th Place in the 7th Aldermanic District.
Analysis
This substitute resolution vacates the above portions of alley in accordance with vacation proceedings under power granted to the City of Milwaukee by Section 66.297(1), Wisconsin Statutes, and Section 81-308-28, Milwaukee Code of Ordinances. This vacation was requested by Monumental Missionary Baptist Church to consolidate land.

Whereas, It is proposed that the Northerly East-West alley and the North 120 feet of the North-South alley in the block bounded by West Garfield Avenue, West North Avenue, North 24th Street and North 24th Place be vacated pursuant to the provisions of Section 62.73, Wisconsin Statutes; and
Whereas, The Department of Public Works has been authorized and directed to prepare a coordinated report estimating all costs and benefit assessments that will be incurred with said vacation; and
Whereas, Said vacation has been reviewed in accordance with Sections 81-116-1 and 308-28, Milwaukee Code of Ordinances; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that portions of alley, as indicated by Exhibit A and bound and described by:
That part of the alleys, as platted, in Block 4 of Meehan and Somer's Subdivision, a recorded subdivision, in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 19, Township 7 North, Range 22 East, described as follows: All of the Northerly East-West 15-foot wide alley and that part of the North-South 15-foot wide alley described as commencing at the Northwest corner of Lot 10 in said Block 4; thence Southerly along the east line of said alley to the Southwest corner of Lot 13; thence Westerly to the Southeast corner of Lot 27; thence Northerly along ...
