Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper city officers be and they hereby are authorized and directed to issue a city check in the total sum of $205.00 payable to Valerie Franklin, 6710 North 55th Street, Milwaukee, WI 53223, to reimburse her for vehicle damage; and, be it
Further Resolved, That members have reviewed the records relating to street repairs done in the area, and have taken testimony from the claimant and City representatives. Despite the recommendation of the City Attorney's office, based on this review members of the Committee believe it is most cost-effective to compromise and reduce the amount claimed from $410.05 to $205.00. This resolution would release the City from any further liability arising from this incident; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the check is to be delivered upon presentation of a proper release, approved by the City Attorney; said amount to be charged to Account No. 636505, Fund - 0001, Organization - 1490, Program - 2631, Sub Class - S118.
