Analysis

This resolution authorizes the Health Department to apply for the Steps to a Healthier US Grant Project from the U.S. Division of Health and Human Services.  The purpose of the project is to support a comprehensive program using a human service model to deliver structured and wrap around services to high risk individuals.  

BODY:

Whereas, The City of Milwaukee appears to be eligible for grant funds from the U.S. Division of Health and Human Services to support a comprehensive program using a human service model to deliver structured and wrap around services to high risk individuals; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that application to the U.S. Division of Health and Human Services is authorized.
