Title

Resolution directing the Department of City Development to prepare a resolution to vacate North Hibernia Street from North 10th Street to West Tory Hill Avenue, in the 4th Aldermanic District.

Analysis

This resolution directs the Department of City Development to prepare a resolution to vacate said right-of-way in accordance with vacation proceedings under power granted to the City of Milwaukee by Section 62.73, Wisconsin Statutes, and Section 308-28, Milwaukee Code of Ordinances. This vacation was requested by the Milwaukee Department of Public Works, since said right-of-way is no longer needed.

Body

Whereas, It has been proposed by the Department of City Development that North Hibernia Street from North 10th Street to West Tory Hill Avenue be vacated pursuant to the provisions of Section 62.73, Wisconsin Statutes; now, therefore, be it

 

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Department of City Development is directed to prepare a resolution to vacate said right-of-way in accordance with Section 308-28 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances.
