Body
Whereas, The Common Council with the adoption of file 050300 on July 6, 2005 authorized the Department of Employee Relations and the City Attorney’s Office to prepare contracts with Blue Cross Blue Shield / CMS for administrative services related to the City of Milwaukee Basic Plan health insurance claims account; and
Whereas, The City Attorney and the Department of Employee Relations have prepared the attached contracts with Blue Cross Blue Shield / CMS; and
Whereas, The three contracts include a separate contract with CMS for basic plan members outside of southeast Wisconsin, a separate contract with TCS for medicare retirees, and a separate contract with CompcareBlue for members in southeast Wisconsin; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the appropriate City officials are authorized to sign the contracts between Blue Cross Blue Shield/CMS and the City of Milwaukee related to administrative services for the City’s Basic Plan health insurance claims account from 2006 through 2008.
