Body
Whereas, The Fairview Neighborhood Association held its annual parade on December 14, 2001, from 6 to 8:30 p.m.; and,
Whereas, The parade followed a route which included the following parameters: Arthur Avenue and Oklahoma Avenue to the north and south, S. 60th Street to S. 72nd Street to the east and west, inclusive of several side streets and the Kinnickinnic River Parkway; and,
Whereas, In order to receive federal reimbursement to cover trolley costs used in the parade, the parade must be officially recognized as an official City-designated event; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Fairview Neighborhood Association parade held on December 14, 2001, is declared an official City-designated event.
