Analysis

This resolution authorizes payment of the claim of Brass Light Gallery in the amount of $15,822.00.

Body

Whereas, The claimant Brass Light Gallery has filed a claim against the City of Milwaukee in the amount of $15,822.00; and

Whereas, The claimant has agreed to settle the claim in the amount of $15,822.00; and

Whereas, The City Attorney recommends and the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee deems it expeditious and just to pay this claim; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the proper City officers be and hereby are authorized and directed to issue a City check in the amount of $15,822.00, payable to the order of Brass Light Gallery, in full and final settlement of this claim, upon receipt of a release of claims, approved as to form and execution by the City Attorney, said amount to be charged to the Water Department Account No. 006300, Fund - 0410, Organization - 6410, Program - 2631, Sub Class - R643.
