Analysis
This resolution directs the Commissioner of Public Works to execute revised project agreements with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for the programming and design of the South Chase Avenue from East Lincoln Avenue to East Ohio Avenue with 92.4% State and Federal aid under the Connecting Highway Improvement Program. The estimated total cost of the project is $11,564,498, which is an increase of $1,519,738, and a total increase in preliminary engineering cost of this project is $619,737, of which the City’s share is $154,934 and the grantor’s share is $464,803. Construction funds for this project will be in future resolutions.

Whereas, A project agreement has been executed by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation and the City of Milwaukee for the improvement of South Chase Avenue STH 38 from East Lincoln Avenue to East Oklahoma Avenue, State/Federal Aid under the Connecting Highway Improvement Program, in accordance with the Common Council resolution file number 110821, adopted November 14, 2011; and
