ANLS:

-Analysis-

This resolution authorizes execution of a Second Amendment of Lease Agreement by and between the City of Milwaukee andMilwaukee World Festival, Inc., providing for a change in the legal description of the Property.

BODY:

Whereas, The City of Milwaukee acting by and through its Board of Harbor Commissioners and Milwaukee World Festival, Inc., a Wisconsin corporation entered into a Lease Agreement dated December 31, 1985; and

Whereas, An amendment of Lease Agreement was executed May 23, 1986; and

Whereas, Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. f has requested certain amendments to the Lease Agreement; and

Whereas, A Second Amendment of Lease Agreement is attached to Common Council Resolution File No. 931492; and

Whereas, The Second Amendment of Lease Agreement provides for a change in the legal description of the property; and

Whereas, The Second Amendment of Lease Agreement is further subject to approval by the Board of Harbor Commissioners; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Second Amendment of Lease Agreement between the City of Milwaukee and Milwaukee World Festival, Inc., which is attached to Common Council Resolution File No. 931492 be and hereby is approved; and, be it,

Further Resolved, That the proper City officers be and hereby are authorized and directed to execute said Second Amendment of Lease Agreement on behalf of the City of Milwaukee.
