This resolution amends a special privilege granted to the Firstar Community Investment Corporation to construct and maintain a concrete ramped entrance for wheelchair access in the public right-of-way on the east side of South 7th Street, adjacent to the building known as 632-34 West Historic Mitchell Street, to now include steps and change the name of the grantee of the special privilege to John Greidanus d/b/a Trendex Enterprises LLC.


BODY:
Whereas, Firstar Community Investment Corporation was granted a special privilege under Common Council Resolution File Number 941847, on April 25, 1995, to construct a concrete platform and ramped entrance for barrier-free access encroaching into the public right-of-way on the east side of South 7th Street adjacent to the building at 632-34 West Historic Mitchell Street; and

Whereas, It appears that steps were subsequently added at the south end of the platform; and

Whereas, The current owner of the building is Trendex Enterprises LLC and should now be named as the grantee of the special privilege; and

Whereas, The concrete ramped entrance with platform and steps may only occupy the public right-of-way through the adoption of a special privilege resolution by the Common Council; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that Common Council Resolution File Number 941847 is hereby rescinded; and, be it...
