Analysis
This resolution amends special privilege for change of ownership to 788 Building Limited Partnership to maintain tree grates and a ramped sidewalk for the premises at 788 North Jefferson Street.
Body
Whereas, Washington Square Associates I Limited Partnership requested permission to keep and maintain a public sidewalk between the lot line and the curb face that has a varying pitch and to install and maintain five tree grates; and

Whereas, Permission for said items was granted in 1996 under Common Council Resolution File Number 961106; and

Whereas, For the liability to be formally transferred to the current owner for said items, the Common Council needs to adopt an amending resolution; now, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that Common Council Resolution File Number 961106 is hereby rescinded; and, be it

Further Resolved, That 788 Building Limited Partnership, c/o Sigma Property Management Company, 732 North Jackson Street, Suite 300, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53202-3708 is hereby granted the following special privileges:

1. To keep and maintain a public sidewalk in the space between the lot line and the curb with varying pitch with a slope not to exceed one inch per foot on the east side of North Jefferson Street serving entrances to the building. Said sloping sidewalk occurs in an area approximately 72 feet long in the space between the lot line and the curb from a point 130 feet south of the southline of East Wells Street and extending north 72 feet.
