Substitute resolution approving levying of assessments and construction of assessable public improvement projects at various locations.
Analysis
This resolution confirms the report of the Commissioner of Public Works, as modified by the Common Council Committee, on projects for which Public Hearings have been held. The resolution authorizes the levying of special assessments and directs the installation and construction of said public improvements.

Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted preliminary resolutions, determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct and levy special assessments for the following improvements:

3rd Aldermanic District

E. Kenwood Bl. – N. Downer Ave. to N. Oakland Ave. (ST32001401) (2984-29-00) File Number 000718: Concrete pavement reconstruction, replace all curb and gutter, replace sidewalk and driveway approaches where needed, sodding, and grading. (Assessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $95,400; Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $101,420; State or Federal Funds -- $684,560; State/Federal Grantor Paving Fund -- $102,720) These funds are to be transferred to the construction account (ST32001410).

6th Aldermanic District

E./W. Center St. – N. Humboldt Bl. to N. Dr. Martin Luther King. Jr. Dr. (ST32092101) (2066-03-70) File Number 990562: Concrete pavement reconstruction. Narrow the pavement from 50 feet to 48 feet. Replace all curb and gutter, replace sidewalk and driveway approaches where needed, sodding, and grading. (Assessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $127,700; Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $234,300; State or Federal Funds -- $1,259,300; State/Federal Grantor Paving Fund -- $188,900) These funds are to be transferred to the construction account (ST32092110).
