Analysis
This resolution corrects a previously approved boundary description for the vacation of a portion of street.
Body
Whereas, On October 10, 2000, the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted File No. 991036 which approved the vacation of the right-turn lane located on the Northwest corner of South 2nd Street and West Mitchell Street, declared the proposed vacated area surplus to municipal needs, and authorized the donation of the proposed vacated area to LaCausa, Inc., for no monetary consideration; and

Whereas, The boundary description as approved in Common Council File No. 991036 is not accurate and must be corrected; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that File No. 991036 is amended to reflect the following corrected boundary description for said vacation:

That part of public street right-of-way located at the Northwest corner of West Mitchell Street and South 2nd Street in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 5, Township 6 North, Range 22 East, described as follows:

Commencing at the Southeast corner of Lot 25 as originally platted in Block 152 of Assessment Subdivision No. 55, a recorded subdivision, in said 1/4 Section; thence Westerly, along the south line of Lot 25 as originally platted; thence Northerly, along the west line of Lot 25 as originally platted, 2 feet to a point; thence Northeasterly to a point 9 feet North of, as measured normal to, said platted south line and 45 feet West of, as measured normal to, the east line of Lot 25 as originally platted; thence Northeasterly to a point in said platted east line, said point lying 120 feet North of said platted Southeast corner of Lot 25; thence Southerly, along said platted east lin...
