Analysis
This resolution authorizes City officials to issue an occupancy permit to CG Schmidt allowing them to occupy East Mason Street between North Van Buren Street and North Prospect Avenue.
Body
Whereas, CG Schmidt has been retained to construct the Northwestern Mutual office tower along East Mason Street, east of North Van Buren Street; and
Whereas, CG Schmidt has requested to occupy the entire roadway of East Mason Street between North Van Buren Street and North Prospect Avenue for a one week period in February 2015; and
Whereas, The Commissioner of Public Works may approve temporary occupancy of up to one-third of the width of the street while temporary use beyond that point must be approved by the Common Council; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the appropriate City officials are hereby authorized to issue a permit to CG Schmidt allowing occupancy of the entire width East Mason Street between North Van Buren Street and North Prospect Avenue for a one week period in February, 2015.
