Title

Substitute ordinance to amend an established Development Incentive Zone (DIZ) for land located on the North Side of West Loomis Road and West of South 27th Street, in the 11th Aldermanic District.

Analysis

This substitute ordinance authorizes the City Plan Commission to approve site development plans within the area included in the Development Incentive Zone.

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee ("Common Council") do ordain as follows:

Part 1. There is added to the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances ("Code") a new section to read as follows:

Section 295-91.0043. The zoning map reaffirms the established Development Incentive Zone (DIZ) for the area bounded by the centerline of South 27th Street, the centerline of West Morgan Avenue, the centerline of South 31st Street to the City limits line extended Easterly to the centerline of South Point Terrace and the centerline of West Loomis Road.

Part 2. In accordance with the provisions of Section 295-83(4) of the Code relating to the establishment of Development Incentive Zones, the Common Council approves the list of permitted and prohibited uses, a copy of which is attached to this Common Council File as Amended Exhibit A which is on file in the office of the City Clerk and made a part thereof as though fully set forth herein.

Part 3. In accordance with the provisions of Section 295-83(4) of the Code relating to the establishment of Development Incentive Zones, the Common Council approves the performance standards, a copy of which is attached to this Common Council File as Amended Exhibit B which is on file in the office of the City Clerk and made a part thereof as though fully set forth herein.
