Staff present from DOA informed members that the Mayor would announce the immediate implementation of several of the recommendations identified in the study at a meeting on Wednesday, October 17, 2007, 1:30 p.m., at the Office of Workforce Development, 2342 N. 27th Street.
Alderman Davis requested that a representative from Mason Tillman consulting firm appear at the next regularly scheduled hearing relating to this matter to address questions from members and also for the purpose of providing an overview of the firm's experience preparing the study relative to the effectiveness of the Emerging Business Enterprise Program.
