Analysis
This resolution directs the Commissioner of Public Works to execute a State/Municipal Agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for the programming, design, real estate acquisition, and construction of West Appleton Avenue (STH 175) from West Lisbon Avenue to West Burleigh Street. The State/Municipal Agreement provides for 75 percent Federal and State aid and 25 percent local cost sharing for preliminary engineering. The revised total estimated cost of this project is $13,054,350 with a grantor share of $11,055,700 and a City share of $1,998,650. This resolution also directs the City Comptroller to transfer additional funds for preliminary engineering at an estimated cost of $650,000 with an estimated City share of $162,500 and a grantor share of $487,500; and transfer funds for real estate acquisition at an estimated total cost of $505,000 with an estimate City share of $0 and a grantor share of $505,000. Construction funds for this project will be included in future resolutions.
