Title
Resolution accepting two easements for a public street, with sewer and water, from Wisconsin Electric Power Company, a Wisconsin corporation, doing business as WE Energies, and Three Oaks Circle, Inc., a Wisconsin not-for-profit corporation, said street to be named West Waterford Court, from South 60th Street to a point west, across lands owned by Wisconsin Electric Power Company and Three Oaks Circle, Inc., a Wisconsin not-for-profit corporation. Analysis
This resolution accepts two easements, located in the Wisconsin Electric Power Company's right-of-way and on land owned by Three Oaks Circle, Inc., granting the City the right to operate a public street within the easement areas, in order to provide access to Armour Park, a Milwaukee County Park, and the proposed Living Circle Campus, a development to be undertaken jointly by the Indian Council for the Elderly, the Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi, and the School Sisters of St. Francis (Three Oaks Circle, Inc.).

Whereas, Common Council Resolution File Number 971920 authorized settlement of actions entitled Indian Council for the Elderly, Inc., et. al. v. City of Milwaukee and United States of America v. City of Milwaukee, and authorized execution of an Intergovernmental Cooperation and Development Agreement by and among the City of Milwaukee, the City of Greenfield, Milwaukee County, the Indian Council for the Elderly, Inc., the Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi, and the School Sisters of St. Francis; and
Whereas, A key element of the Intergovernmental Cooperation and Development Agreement calls for the City to provide street access to the development site, which is currently landlocked; and
