This resolution authorizes cancellation of Department of Public Works Invoice No. 65202 billed to Patricia A. Hays on April 15, 1996 in the amount of $2,068.45 for repairs to a concrete light pole with traffic signal damaged on January 18, 1996.

BODY:
Whereas, On 1/18/96, Patricia A. Hays parked her automobile at 5315 North 28th Street leaving the keys in the ignition; and
Whereas, An unidentified driver, while operating Patricia A. Hays' vehicle in an eastbound direction on West Highland Boulevard, proceeded through the red light colliding with a vehicle proceeding westbound on West Highland Boulevard and making a left turn onto North 27th Street, causing Patricia A. Hays' vehicle to strike a light pole with traffic control signal; and
Whereas, The driver of Patricia A. Hays' vehicle cannot be identified now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Department of Public Works Invoice No. 65202 in the amount of $2.068.45 billed to Patricia A. Hays be and hereby is cancelled.
