Resolution determining it necessary to make various nonassessable public improvements at various locations and appropriating funds for these purposes with the City engineering cost estimated to be $310,000 for a total estimated cost of these projects being $5,977,000.
Analysis
This resolution authorizes engineering studies on projects which by City Charter are nonassessable. After design plans and estimates of costs have been prepared, a resolution authorizing construction will be submitted to the Common Council. The City cost for engineering these projects is estimated to be $310,000 with the total cost estimated to be $5,977,000.

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it is necessary and in the public interest to do the following described improvements according to City specifications:
1st Aldermanic District
N. 40th St. - W. Hampton Ave. to W. Stark Ave. (SM495260011) Relaying sanitary sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $15,000). The total estimated cost of the project including the requested amount is $202,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2026 construction season.
12th and 14th Aldermanic District
S. 13th St. - W. Harrison Ave. to W. Oklahoma Ave. (SM499230009) File Number 230577: Installing bioswales. (Nonassessable Water Quality Fund -- $20,000 additional funding). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $200,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2026 construction season.
14th Aldermanic District
S. 12th St. - W. Manitoba St. to W. Oklahoma Ave. (SM495260012) Combined sewer lining. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $20,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $317,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2026 construction season.
