BODY:
Whereas, The City Treasurer has identified certain delinquent personal property tax accounts as unenforceable and uncollectible; and
Whereas, The City Treasurer has reviewed these accounts and has determined that they are legally unenforceable and uncollectible; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the proper City officers be and hereby are authorized and directed to cancel as accounts receivable the 2,374 delinquent personal property tax accounts totaling $1,413,781.02, determined to be legally unenforceable and uncollectible, as delineated in the schedule of accounts attached to the file and herein made part of the resolution; and be it
Further Resolved, That the City Treasurer be and hereby is authorized and directed to remove the aforementioned cancelled accounts from the tax receivable file.
