This resolution authorizes the proper City officials, including representatives of the Department of Public Works and the City Attorney's Office, to enter into an agreement with Milwaukee County relating to City installation and maintenance of bicycle storage lockers in O'Donnell Park.
BODY:
Whereas, The Department of Public Works has proposed the installation and maintenance of 4 bicycle storage lockers, with a capacity of 2 bicycles each, in O'Donnell Park; and
Whereas, O'Donnell Park is owned by Milwaukee County, and installation of these bicycle lockers cannot occur without the approval of the County; and
Whereas, Milwaukee County has proposed a "BICYCLE LOCKER AGREEMENT" between the City and County which would establish terms and conditions for the City's installation, maintenance, repair, relocation or removal of bicycle storage lockers in O'Donnell Park; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper City officials, including but not limited to representatives of the Department of Public Works and the City Attorney's Office, are authorized to negotiate and enter into an agreement with Milwaukee County relating to the installation and maintenance of bicycle storage lockers in O'Donnell Park, a draft copy of which is attached to and made part of this file; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the proper City officials are further authorized to make non-substantial changes to this bicycle locker agreement without Common Council approval.
