A substitute ordinance to further amend the 2021 offices and positions in the City Service.
Analysis
This substitute ordinance changes the offices and positions in the following departments:
Health Department, Police
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 200537 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under “Health Department, Policy, Innovation, and Engagement Division, delete one position of “Public Health Strategist (X)(Y)”.
Under “Planning and Research”, delete three positions of “Public Health Strategist (X)(Y)(I)(J), add one position of “Public Health Strategist (X)(Y)(I)(J), add one position of “Public Health Strategist (X)(Y)(II), add one position of “Public Health Strategist (X)(Y)(I), add one position of “Public Health Strategist (X)(Y)(J), add one position of “Public Health Strategist (X)(Y), and create footnote “(II)” to read as follows:
“(II) To expire 09/30/21 unless the SNAP-Ed Collective Action Grant is extended. Partially funds one position of Public Health Strategist.”
Under “Police Department”, amend footnote “(N)” to read as follows:
“(N) Milwaukee Metropolitan Drug Enforcement Grant: Position authority to expire 12/31/21, unless the Milwaukee Metropolitan Drug Enforcement Grant is extended.”
Part 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
The provisions of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after its passage and publication.
Part 3. This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
