This resolution authorizes cancellation of the Building and Fleet Services Invoice No. 44645 billed to Harold L. Moore and Safeco Insurance in the amount of $2,375.00 for damages to City vehicle no. 20901 on March 7, 1997. (Buildings & Fleet) _______________________________________________________
BODY:
Whereas, On March 7, a vehicle operated by Harold L. Moore and insured by Safeco Insurance collided with City vehicle 20901 at the intersection of North 30th Street and West Brown Street thereby causing damages to the City vehicle in the amount of $2,375.00; and
Whereas, The City vehicle was travelling southbound on North 30th Street, stopped at the stop sign and proceeded into the intersection striking the vehicle operated by Harold L. Moore, which was proceeding westbound on West Brown Street and had the right-of-way with no traffic control signs; and
Whereas, The cancellation of Invoice No. 44645 reflects the legal liability of the parties; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Building and Fleet Services' Invoice NO. 44645 in the amount of $2,375.00 billed to Harold L. Moore and Safeco Insurance be and the same is hereby cancelled.
