This resolution authorizes the issuance and sale of general obligation bonds in accordance with sec. 67.04, Stats., for a project undertaken for a public purpose, to-wit: for purchase of sites for and construction of Engine Houses, Fire Station Reconstruction, Remodeling, Planning, Design and Site Acquisition, in the amount of $700,000. _____________________________________________

Whereas, The 1998 budget of the City of Milwaukee adopted by the Common Council contemplates the issuance of general obligation bonds in the amount of $700,000 for a project undertaken for a public purpose, to-wit: for purchase of sites for and construction of Engine Houses, Fire Station Reconstruction, Remodeling, Planning, Design and Site Acquisition; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that it hereby and herewith authorizes and declares its purpose to issue and sell general obligation bonds in the amount of $700,000 for a project undertaken for a public purpose, to-wit: for purchase of sites for and construction of Engine Houses, Fire Station Reconstruction, Remodeling, Planning, Design and Site Acquisition.
