Title
Resolution approving the first sites to host public electric vehicle charging stations funded through the Charging and Fueling Infrastructure program.
Analysis
The Environmental Collaboration Office (ECO) is managing a $14.96 million grant from the United States Department of Transportation’s Charging and Fueling Infrastructure program to develop a public electric vehicle charging network. The City currently has access only to the engineering and planning funds in the grant, with the federal government to release construction funds after the City conducts NEPA analysis on selected sites. This resolution approves the location of the first batch of sites that will be submitted for construction approval.
