This resolution transfers jurisdiction of said lot from the Department of City Development to the Department of Public Works for construction and operation of a children's play area.
BODY:
Whereas, The Buildings and Fleet Division of the Department of Public Works wishes to construct and operate a neighborhood children's play area on said lot which is currently under the jurisdiction of the Department of City Development; and
 
Whereas, The Department of City Development has no immediate use for this surplus size, buildable lot; now, therefore, be it
 
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the vacant, surplus size, tax deed lot located at 6210 West Kaul Avenue, Tax Roll Key No. 155-0109-7, be placed under the jurisdiction of the Department of Public Works, Buildings and Fleet Division, to construct and operate a neighborhood children's play area; and, be it
 
Further Resolved, That should a children's play area not be constructed on said lot within three years from adoption of this resolution, the jurisdiction of said lot will be transferred back to the Department of City Development upon receiving written notification from the Commissioner of the Department of Public Works stating that the lot was not developed as this resolution intended.
