Analysis
This resolution authorizes the Milwaukee Public Library (MPL) to apply for, accept and fund a TEACH Project Implementation Services Grant from the Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) in the amount of $42,321 with a city share of $2,321 and a grantor share of $40,000. The purpose of the project will allow MPL to improve the system wide use of technology services.

Whereas, The City of Milwaukee appears to be eligible for grant funds from the MPS for the purpose of improving the system wide use of technology resources; and
Whereas, The operation of this grant from 01/01/03 to 12/31/03 would cost $42,321 of which $2,321 (5%) would be provided by the city and $40,000 (95%) would be provided by the grantor; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Milwaukee Public Library shall accept this grant without further approval unless the terms of the grant change as indicated in Common Council File 940843 (Grant Ordinance); and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized to:
1. Commit funds within the Project/Grant Parent of the 2003 Special Revenue--Grant and Aid Projects Fund, the following amounts for the project titled TEACH Project Implementation Services Grant:
