This resolution approves additions to architechtural design guidelines for the Historic Third Ward District initially adopted in 1991.

BODY:

Whereas, Section 308-71-2-d, Milwaukee Code of Ordinances, requires Common Council approval of design guidelines for new construction and the alteration or rehabilitation of any exterior building, structure or site in the Historic Third Ward District; and

Whereas, The Common Council initially approved design guidelines in 1991, and the Architectural Review Board has now recommended that the guidelines be amended by adding new guidelines; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the design guidelines relating to the Historic Third Ward District attached to this file (added page numbers with suffixes correspond to pages in the original 1991 guidelines) are approved.
