Whereas, The City of Milwaukee's Department of Employee Relations, Employee Benefits Division currently provides the business functions of the COBRA Dental Program, and,
Whereas, The Employee Retirement System provides the business functions for other retiree benefits programs; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Employee Retirement System is authorized and directed to provide the functions of the COBRA Dental Program to retired City employees effective on or before July 1, 1999, or as soon as administratively possible, and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Department of Employee Relations, Employee Benefits Division, cooperate with the Employee Retirement System to make this transition as smooth as possible.
