Title:

Resolution authorizing the Milwaukee Police Department to enter into a renewal of the Law Enforcement and Security Services Agreement with the Milwaukee Brewers.

Analysis

This resolution authorizes the Milwaukee Police Department to enter into a renewal of the Law Enforcement and Security Services Agreement with the Milwaukee Brewers for the period  2/1/17-1/31/18.

BODY:

Whereas, The parties desire to renew the agreement for an additional one year term; and

Whereas, The  Police Department may enter into agreements exceeding, $50,000 that have been approved by the Chief of Police as indicated in Section 312-26, Milwaukee Code of Ordinances; now therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the attached renewal of the agreement with the Milwaukee Brewers is approved, and the Police Department shall accept these funds without further approval.
