Substitute resolution relative to various legislative bills.
BODY:
Whereas, The Judiciary and Legislation Committee of the Common Council has recommended the following positions on the bills hereinafter listed and the Common Council being advised of said matters; now, therefore, be it
 
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it hereby approves the following legislative bills and instructs the Division of Intergovernmental Relations to appear before the proper committees to support such bills and use its best endeavors to have the same enacted into law, viz:
 
91-A, relating to Drunk Driving Laws; Recovery of Enforcement.
 
391-A, relating to Public Real Estate.
 
467-A, relating to Driving Under the Influence.
 
491-A, relating to Sale of Delinquent Property. CITY BILL ;and, be it
 
Further Resolved, That the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee is opposed to the following legislative bill and hereby instructs the Division of Intergovernmental Relations to appear before the proper committees in opposition to said bill and use its best endeavors in opposition to the same viz:
 
422-A, relating to Property Tax Bills; Deadlines. ; and, be it
 
Further Resolved, That relative to Proposed Federal Communications Commission Rule Preempting Local Zoning Restrictions for Broadcast Station Transmission Facilities, the Division of Intergovernmental Relations is approved to file comments/reply comments opposing the Federal Communications proposals and approval to notify federal legislators of the City's opposition to the proposed Federal Communications Commission Rule and support the Proposed Wisconsin Department of Agriculture Rule Change Re: Use and Control of Pesticides.
