BODY:
Whereas, A resolution directing a report on the proposed vacation was presented to the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee by the City of Milwaukee on the 16th day of December, 1997 for the vacation of a portion of the West side of North 76th Street between West Courtland Avenue and West Hampton Avenue, in the 2nd Aldermanic District; and
Whereas, A resolution directing a report on the proposed vacation was passed by the Common Council on January 20, 1998 under File No. 971372; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the fee of $218 otherwise required to be paid to the City Treasurer is waived, and the City Treasurer is authorized to waive said fee pursuant to Ordinance 234 of the City of Milwaukee, passed July 11, 1961; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the following described portion of the West side of North 76th Street between West Courtland Avenue and West Hampton Avenue, described as follows:
That part of North 76th Street as platted in Fondale, a recorded subdivision, in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 4, Township 7 North, Range 21 East, described as follows: Commencing at the point of intersection of the North line of West Courtland Avenue and the West line of North 76th Street; thence North along said West line 0.32 feet to the point of beginning of the land to be described; thence continuing North along said West line 323.27 feet to a point in the North line of Fondale; thence North 88 deg. 54 min.
