This substitute resolution authorizes the issuance and sale of general obligation bonds in accordance with s. 67.04, Stats., in the amount of $4,500,000 for a project undertaken for a public purpose, to-wit: for parking lots or other parking facilities.

BODY:

Whereas, The 1998 budget of the City of Milwaukee adopted by the Common Council authorizes contingent borrowing in the form of general obligation bonds or notes for any public purpose not contemplated at the time the budget was adopted in the amount of $28,600,000; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that it hereby and herewith authorizes and declares its purpose to issue and sell general obligation bonds in the amount of $4,500,000 for a project undertaken for a public purpose, to-wit: for parking lots or other parking facilities.
