Analysis

This resolution will authorize refund of weed cutting charges placed on the 2001 Tax Roll due to clerical error of the Sanitation Division.  

Body

Whereas, Erroneous weed cutting charges were made against this parcel of real estate in 2001; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that proper city officers are authorized and directed to refund $87.75  to the possessor of the 2001 tax bill for Key Number 364-2710-0 also known as 1238-40 N. 27th Street. Refund check should be sent to the property owner, Ralph Abts, 2719 W. McKinley Blvd., Milwaukee, WI 53208, and the amount in this resolution is to be charged to Fund Number:0001, Account 636508 Prog 39d1 Subclass R999 Budget Year 2002;                                 

and, be it

Further Resolved, That no interest be paid on the delinquent charge in this resolution.
