Analysis

Common Council file Number 050730, passed on May 9, 2006, effective May 26, 2006 increased the taxicab rate for the first 1/8^th mile or fraction of a mile from $1.75 to $2.75.  The file specified that the $2.75 rate will be null and void on and after November 26, 2006. This ordinance amends the sunset provision extending it to March 26, 2007.

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1. Part 2 of file number 050730, an ordinance relating to taxicab meter rates, passed on May 9, 2006, is amended to read:
