Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted Resolution File Number 981740 on April 30, 1999, which approved the plats of right-of-way required for the improvement of Jobs Corridor Projects on West Good Hope Road between North 124th Street and the USH 41/45 interchange and North 124th Street between Dretzka Park Road and West Brown Deer Road:

Project ID 2130-08-20,21

West Good Hope Road from North 124th Street to the USH 41/45 Interchange

Project ID 2175-04-20, 21

North 124th Street from Dretzka Park Road to West Brown Deer Road; and

Whereas, The above-mentioned projects include acquisitions in both the City of Milwaukee and the Village of Menomonee Falls; and

Whereas, The City of Milwaukee is acting as the lead agent in reimbursing the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WISDOT) for the local share of these real estate projects; and

Whereas, The City of Milwaukee and the Village of Menomonee Falls entered into a cost sharing agreement in which the Village of Menomonee Falls agreed to pay the City of Milwaukee their share of the real estate project costs as we receive bills from the WISDOT; and

Whereas, Due to the fast-track nature of these projects in 1999, WISDOT agreed to defer billing for real estate acquisition costs for these projects until 2001 to allow each municipality to budget for their shares; and

Whereas, The City's share of the right-of-way costs for the projects is included in the 2001 Federal/State Aid Major Streets Improvement Program Budget; now, therefore, be it
