This resolution amends a special privilege granted to Mr. Alphonse Kordys to maintain concrete steps in the public right-of-way on the southwest corner of South 15th Street and West Lincoln Avenue, adjacent to the building known as 1501 West Lincoln Avenue, to now add an additional step encroachment and change the name of the grantee of the special privilege to Blessed Hope Assembly of God.
BODY:
Whereas, Mr. Alphonse Kordys was granted a special privilege under Common Council Resolution File Number 60-511, on May 31, 1960, to maintain a set of semicircular steps encroaching into the public right-of-way on the southwest corner of South 15th Street and West Lincoln Avenue, adjacent to the building at 1501 West Lincoln Avenue; and
Whereas, Our recent field investigation has found an additional concrete step encroaching into the public right-of-way on the west side of South 15th Street, south of West Lincoln Avenue; and
Whereas, The current owner of the building is Blessed Hope Assembly of God and should now be named as the grantee of the special privilege; and
Whereas, The steps may only occupy the public rights-of-way through the adoption of a special privilege resolution by the Common Council; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that Common Council Resolution File Number 60-511 is hereby rescinded; and, be it
