Substitute resolution relating to the use and allocation of the 2004 Large Impact Development (LID) reprogramming funds.
Analysis
This resolution authorizes awards to Large Impact Developments (LID) projects utilizing the 2004 LID pool in the amount of $315,000 that was awarded during the 2004 reprogramming cycle.
Body
Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee has approved the amount of $315,000 of Community Development Block Grant reprogramming funds for allocation to Large Impact Development (LID) projects - Common Council File Number 040120; and

Whereas, The Community & Economic Development Committee recommends approval to allocate LID funding to the following organizations:

Lisbon Ave. Neighborhood Development $ 75,000
North Avenue Community Dev. Corp. $140,000
Silver Spring Neighborhood Center
$100,000
Total $315,000

; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the LID awards are approved for the organizations stated above; and, be it

Further Resolved That the Community Block Grant Administration is responsible for awarding a subrecipient contract for these approved activities; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the subrecipient organizations shall submit budget and activity reports in amounts and according to any conditions approved by the Common Council and in accordance with File Number 74-92-5v, to the Community Block Grant Administration and the City Comptroller for review and approval; and, be it

Further Resolved, That payments for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) costs incurred shall be paid in accordance with approved Community Development Block Grant...
