Resolution determining it necessary to make various nonassessable public improvements at various locations and appropriating funds for these purposes with the City engineering cost estimated to be $4,269,600 for a total estimated cost of these projects being $26,854,600.
Analysis
This resolution authorizes engineering studies on projects which by City Charter are nonassessable. After design plans and estimates of costs have been prepared, a resolution authorizing construction will be submitted to the Common Council. The City cost for engineering these projects is estimated to be $4,269,600 with the total cost estimated to be $26,854,600.

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it is necessary and in the public interest to do the following described improvements according to City specifications:
4th and 8th Aldermanic Districts
16th Street Viaduct over the Menomonee River (BR100250115) Pavement markings. (City Share Non-assessable Structure Fund - $330,000) The total estimated cost for this project is $330,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2026 construction season.
5th Aldermanic District
N. 92nd St. - W. Burleigh St. to W. Auer Ave. (WT410250663) Relaying water main and lead replacement of service. (Nonassessable Water Fund Budget Line 5010 -- $1,000. Nonassessable Water Fund Budget Line 6410 -- $24,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $235,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2026 construction season.
6th Aldermanic District
N. 12th St. - W. Finn Pl. to W. Atkinson Ave. (SM495250076) Relaying combined sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $15,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $205,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2026 construction season.
