The Municipal Court Resource Needs Evaluation Study Group was created by the Common Council December 16, 1997, in Resolution File Number 971324. This resolution provides that, in order to properly discharge its duties with respect to the court commissioner project, the Study Group shall continue in existence until the Common Council takes subsequent action.
BODY:
Whereas, The Common Council, in Resolution File Number 971324, adopted December 16, 1997, created the Municipal Court Resource Needs Evaluation Study Group to evaluate the judicial and other resources needed by Municipal Court; and
Whereas, On February 23, 1998, the Municipal Court Resource Needs Evaluation Study Group submitted its report and recommendations to the Common Council and the Judiciary and Legislation Committee, as directed by its creating resolution; and
Whereas, The Common Council has determined that it is in the best interest of the City for the Study Group to continue in existence throughout the implementation of the Municipal Court Commissioner Project; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that, in order to properly discharge its duties with respect to the court commissioner project, the Municipal Court Resource Needs Evaluation Study Group, created by Resolution File Number 971324, shall continue in existence until the Common Council takes subsequent action concerning the Study Group.
