Analysis
This resolution authorizes engineering studies on projects which by City Charter are nonassessable. After design plans and estimates of costs have been prepared, a resolution authorizing construction will be submitted to the Common Council. The City cost for engineering these projects is estimated to be $182,000 with the total cost estimated to be $650,000.

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it is necessary and in the public interest to do the following described improvements according to City specifications:
6th Aldermanic District
W. Townsend St. - N. 1st St. to 150’ +/- East of N. 2nd St. (SM495240030) Relaying combined sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $12,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $99,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2025 construction season.
E. Vienna Ave. - N. Humboldt Blvd. to 550’ +/- East of N. Humboldt Blvd. (SM495240031) Relaying sanitary sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $15,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $161,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2025 construction season.

S. 5th St. - W. Waterford Ave. to W. Plainfield Ave. (SM495240032) Installing new storm sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $15,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $159,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2025 construction season.
