Resolution approving the Land Disposition Report for a portion of the property at 3320 North 6th Street for sale to Alvin Laster in the 6th Aldermanic District (Redevelopment Authority).

This resolution will permit the Redevelopment Authority to convey said property according to the conditions in the amended Land Disposition Report.
BODY:
Whereas, In Common Council File No. 931949, adopted on April 24, 1994, the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee approved a 10-year lease for a portion of the former City of Milwaukee parking lot at 3320 North 6th Street and authorized conveyance of the land to Alvin Laster at the expiration of the lease on April 1, 2004; and
Whereas, Alvin Laster wishes to purchase the property in advance of the lease expiration and has submitted an Offer to Purchase by an Adjoining Owner; and
Whereas, On April 9, 1998, the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee held a Public Hearing on the proposed sale as required by Wisconsin Statutes; and
Whereas, Pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes and as a condition precedent to the sale, lease or transfer of land, the Redevelopment Authority submits herewith a Land Disposition Report describing the terms and conditions of the proposed sale; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Land Disposition Report dated April 9, 1998, with respect to the proposed sale of the following property is approved.
