This ordinance changes the name of North 7th Street between West Clybourn Street and West State Street to North James Lovell Street in honor of the astronaut who attended the University of Wisconsin.

BODY:

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1. The name of North 7th Street between West Clybourn Street and West State Street, in the 4th Aldermanic District, is changed to North James Lovell Street.

Part 2. This ordinance is passed notwithstanding the provisions of s. 113-3 of the code.
