This resolution grants a special privilege to La Causa Incorporated to construct and maintain a retaining wall and concrete curb projections within the public right-of-way for the premises at 735 West Greenfield Avenue.
Body
Whereas, The applicant requested permission to construct and maintain a retaining wall in the public right-of-way; and

Whereas, A site visit revealed the presence of concrete curbs projecting into the public right-of-way at the driveway entrance to the parking lot; and

Whereas, Said items may only legally encroach into the public right-of-way by granting of a special privilege resolution adopted by the Common Council; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that La Causa Incorporated, P.O. Box 04188, Milwaukee, WI 53204 is hereby granted the following special privileges:

1. To construct and maintain a 1-foot wide concrete block retaining wall in the east, 19-foot wide sidewalk area of South 8th Street. Said retaining wall commences at the southline of West Greenfield Avenue and extends 3 feet 5 inches to the southwest to a point approximately 4 feet west of the eastline of South 8th Street and then extends 47 feet 6 inches south for a total length of 50 feet 11 inches.

2. To construct and maintain two 7-inch wide concrete curbs projecting into the east, 19-foot wide sidewalk area of South 8th Street. Said curbs abut the north and south sides of a driveway that is centered approximately 100 feet south of the southline of West Greenfield Avenue. The north curb projects 3 feet 10 inches and the south curb projects 4 feet 1 inch into the public way.
