This resolution amends the sales price and disposition of four surplus, vacant, tax deed lots owned by the City of Milwaukee.
BODY:
Whereas, On July 25, 1997 and November 4, 1997, the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted File Nos. 970531 and 970983, respectively, which declared surplus and authorized the disposition of various vacant, tax deed/City-owned lots via the open listing method; and

Whereas, The original listing prices are as follows:

6735 North 53rd Street - $9,000

6762 North 53rd Street - $9,000

6754 North 53rd Street - $8,500

6755 North 55th Street - $8,500

; and

Whereas, The City of Milwaukee has received Offers to Purchase said lots from Landtek of Wisconsin in the amount of $3,600 per lot for construction of single-family owner-occupied residential units; and

Whereas, The Department of City Development recommends acceptance of said Offers contingent upon submittal, review and approval of site and building plans by the Department of City Development's planning staff and the proposed buyer must submit firm financial commitment to complete the project as proposed; and

Whereas, These vacant, tax deed lots are being sold in an "as is" condition and the City of Milwaukee makes no representation or warranties concerning the condition of the property, including but not limited to, soil and subsoil condition; and

Whereas, The City Plan Commission has approved the acceptance of said Offers, the sale of said lots to be consummated in the manner provided for in the sale of other tax deed lots pursuant to Section 304-49 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances; now, therefore, be it
