Whereas, The City Code of Ordinance 309-54 established the local sewerage charge; and
Whereas, This ordinance requires the adoption of a resolution that establishes the annual local sewer charge; therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the 1998 local sewerage charge be established in accordance with City Code of Ordinance 309-54-3(g); and, be it
Further Resolved, That the charge be based on water consumption for non-certified non-residential users, adjusted water consumption as identified through the certification process of the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District with respect to the consumption of sewer charges under sec. 66.912 of the Wisconsin State Statutes for certified non-residential users, and an annualized winter quarter water consumption for residential users; and, be it
Further Resolved, That this charge be assessed to property owners using the most current water consumption data available; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the 1998 charge is $0.2316 per 100 cubic feet and that it will take effect on December 28, 1997.
