Substitute resolution appropriating contingent funds to facilitate Closure of the City's 1998 books.

ANLS:

This substitute resolution authorizes appropriations from the 1998 Common Council Contingent Fund, of up to $210,000 to the DPW - Buildings and Fleet Division and up to $73,000 to the DPW - Infrastructure Services Division for higher than anticipated electrical energy expenses.

BODY:

Whereas, Electrical energy expenses were approximately $283,000 higher than anticipated in the 1998 budget due to a rate increase enacted after budget adoption; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized and directed to transfer up to $210,000 from the Common Council Contingent Fund (09-910-8000) to the Department of Public Works, Buildings and Fleet Division services account (01-545-6300) and up to $73,000 to the DPW - Infrastructure Services Division services account (01-523-6300).
