After design plans and estimates of costs have been prepared, a resolution authorizing construction will be submitted to the Common Council. The City cost for engineering these projects is estimated to be $1,203,000 with the total cost estimated to be $14,261,000.
Body
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it is necessary and in the public interest to do the following described improvements according to City specifications:

1st Aldermanic District

Roosevelt Dr. Bioswales: W. Roosevelt Dr. - N. 27th St. to N. 30th St. (SM499160101): (Storm Water Quality - Nonassessable Water Quality Projects to meet TMDL Requirements -- $5,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $100,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2016 construction season.

W. Thurston Ave. - N. Teutonia Ave. to N. 34th St. (WT410160900): Relaying water main. (Nonassessable Water Fund Budget 5010 - $6,000; Nonassessable Water Fund Budget line 6410 - $14,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $280,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2016 construction season.

N. 28th St. - Alley north of W. Hope Ave. (SE 251) to alley south of W. Roosevelt Dr. (SM495160016): Relaying storm sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $12,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $87,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2017 construction season.
