This resolution accepts a Quit Claim Deed for part of the property at 1333 North Prospect Avenue from Block 8 LLC for land to be dedicated for public street purposes for the realignment of East Ogden Avenue between North Farwell Avenue and North Prospect Avenue.
BODY:
Whereas, The City of Milwaukee has been working with Block 8 LLC to realign East Ogden Avenue between North Farwell Avenue and North Prospect Avenue; and
Whereas, The opening of street right-of-way on the southerly side of East Ogden Avenue is being done in conjunction with the vacation of a portion of the northerly side of East Ogden Avenue; and
Whereas, Block 8 LLC has agreed to convey land to the City of Milwaukee for mutual benefit of a public street; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Quit Claim Deed from Block 8 LLC for part of the property at 1333 North Prospect Avenue, as property to be dedicated for public street purposes, is accepted; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the proper City officials are authorized and directed to record said Deed and do whatever is necessary to conclude this transaction.
